IT Administrator 100%, EFS Office

We are a small IT team in Uppsala looking for a new colleague who fits well into our unpretentious, solution-oriented team and is committed to EFS's vision. In this role, you will maintain and develop our IT environment so that all EFS staff have the right conditions and tools for their work.

About the role and who we are looking for

You will work closely with us. We are looking for a practitioner who enjoys hands-on, operational work. We welcome candidates early in their career who are eager to develop. Adaptability and growth potential matter more to us than years of experience. This is an opportunity to build professional skills across many IT areas while also developing project management competence. We will offer active coaching and support.

Requirements

You have education or equivalent knowledge in:

  • Windows and Mac administration: install, set up, and manage computers in both environments
  • Service and support: supporting staff with everything from minor everyday issues to complex technical challenges
  • Networking and security: basic understanding of how networks work, firewalls, and security principles; able to handle basic network settings
  • Independence and initiative: experience taking an assigned task and driving it forward without needing every step explained
  • Language skills: English is an internal working language of our department, so you must communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

Qualifications

  • Experience with or strong interest in Linux and open source
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of project management in an IT context (planning, risk management, communication)

Scope: Full-time, 100%

Start date: Immediately or by agreement

Other details: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Located at our head office in Uppsala. Terms governed by Arbetsgivaralliansen's collective agreement for faith communities and ecumenical organizations.
