Remote Christian Music Marketing Specialist & Meta Ads Manager

Heaven Bound Music Marketing is looking for a skilled Meta Advertising and Digital Marketing Specialist to help Christian artists grow their music with strategy, creativity, and excellence.

This role is not a generic media buyer position. We need someone who understands how to take a song, identify the right audience, build strong creative direction, run effective Meta campaigns, read performance data, and optimize toward real listener growth on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming services.

About the Role

You will be responsible for building and managing paid music marketing campaigns primarily through Meta Ads Manager, with the goal of driving high-quality traffic to streaming platforms. The right person will understand how to promote music in a way that creates real engagement, not empty numbers.

This role requires strong creative instincts, technical ad experience, music marketing awareness, and the ability to work inside a fast-moving team environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create and manage Meta ad campaigns for Christian artists and faith-based music projects.
  • Listen to songs and determine strong audience angles, creative concepts, targeting direction, and campaign strategy.
  • Build ads that drive listeners to Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms.
  • Use existing artist assets or resourcefully create strong ad creatives from scratch when needed.
  • Edit, generate, or direct content that fits the song, artist brand, and target audience.
  • Review data from Meta Ads Manager and Spotify for Artists to understand performance, listener behavior, saves, streams, clicks, cost per result, and overall campaign health.
  • Make smart optimization decisions based on campaign data.
  • Track campaign details, reporting, budgets, and performance updates inside Google Sheets.
  • Communicate clearly with the Heaven Bound team and keep campaign progress organized.
  • Help create campaigns that align with the mission of supporting Christian artists and helping their music reach the right people.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience with Facebook and Instagram ads through Meta Ads Manager.
  • A real understanding of music marketing, especially direct-to-Spotify campaigns.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically when building campaigns around songs.
  • Strong understanding of Spotify for Artists and streaming platform performance metrics.
  • Experience with content editing, content generation, creative testing, and ad creative development.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with campaign tracking and internal communication.
  • Comfortable working with Christian artists and faith-based music.
  • Able to take ownership of campaigns without needing constant hand-holding.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with YouTube ads, Google Ads, TikTok ads, or other digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience marketing Christian, worship, CCM, gospel, Christian rap, or faith-based music.
  • Experience with landing pages, smart links, conversion tracking, pixels, or fanbase funnels.
  • Basic graphic design, video editing, copywriting, or AI creative generation experience.

Who This Role Is Not For

  • Someone with minimal marketing experience or someone who has only run a few basic campaigns.
  • A general media buyer who does not understand the music industry, streaming platforms, or how to build campaigns around songs.
  • Someone who has never run direct-to-Spotify campaigns or does not understand how Meta ads impact listener behavior, saves, streams, and long-term artist growth.
  • Someone who has not stayed current with Meta Ads Manager, creative testing, campaign structure, targeting changes, optimization strategy, and platform updates.
  • Someone who only knows how to boost posts, copy old campaigns, or run generic ad setups without thinking through the artist, song, audience, and creative direction.
