The Role
We’re looking for a highly entrepreneurial Social Media & Community Growth Lead who can architect strategy and scale our digital presence and key user acquisition channel from the ground up.
This person will play a key role in translating vision into execution - building the social systems, storytelling frameworks, audience engagement strategies, and growth infrastructure needed to help scale from an early-stage platform into a thriving digital ecosystem and community with millions of users.
This candidate takes strong ownership and can drive their workstream forward with strategic influence. They have successfully scaled a startup, app, or digital brand before and understands what it takes to build sustainable audience and community growth from 0 to 100.
It’s crucial to have a deep understanding of how modern digital communities grow and how social media drives engagement, meaningful user acquisition, retention, and brand affinity. This role requires a rare balance of strategic thinking, systems-building, creative instinct, operational execution, and growth-minded yet measured experimentation.

This is a creative builder role that helps shape the future of how FaithOnline grows, communicates, and builds community online. We’re looking for someone with demonstrated instincts, executional excellence, and a track record of helping digital brands grow.
What You’ll Own
Social Growth & User Acquisition
- Lead and execute platform-native social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Substack, Facebook, Threads, and emerging platforms
- Build a differentiated digital presence that drives both audience growth and app adoption
- Develop 0 to 1 social content strategies that create anticipation, curiosity, emotional resonance, and conversion
- Help turn social media audiences into engaged community members and platform users
- Think strategically about organic acquisition, retention, audience behavior, and engagement loops
- Understand how different audiences behave across different platforms and tailor content accordingly
Brand Storytelling & Community Building
- Help shape FaithOnline’s voice, tone, and social identity across all channels
- Create content experiences that feel human, authentic, conversational, and emotionally resonant
- Translate company vision, creator stories, formation content, and real-life experiences into compelling digital storytelling
- Foster meaningful engagement and community interaction across social platforms
- Build a social presence people genuinely want to follow — not just consume passively
- Help create a digital ecosystem that feels alive, relational, culturally relevant, and mission-aligned
Systems, Operations & Execution
- Build scalable social media systems, workflows, reporting structures, and execution processes
- Develop repeatable frameworks for scripting, content production, CTA strategy, engagement, and platform optimization
- Track growth, engagement, acquisition, and community health metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Operate proactively and independently in a fast-moving startup environment
- Balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, content, design, creator, and product teams to bring campaigns and initiatives to life
- Collaborate closely with leadership to align social strategy with company vision, growth priorities, and user experience goals
- Partner with creators, storytellers, and community contributors to amplify meaningful narratives across platforms
- Help bridge communication between audience insights, platform behavior, and internal execution teams
What You Bring
- Passion for faith-based work and alignment with FaithOnline’s mission and values
- 5+ years of experience in social media, growth, digital community, or content strategy roles with notable success and reference
- Proven track record of driving measurable audience growth, engagement, and user acquisition for a startup, tech company, app, creator ecosystem, or digital brand
- Experience helping scale an early-stage company, platform, or digital community from early traction toward meaningful growth
- Strong understanding of organic growth strategy, audience behavior, platform dynamics, and conversion psychology
- Experience building scalable social media systems, workflows, and operational processes in startup or high-growth environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate brand vision into content systems that drive engagement and user action
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, design, content, creator, and leadership teams
- Strong instincts around storytelling, emotional resonance, and platform-native content strategy with excellent writing, communication, organization, and execution skills
- Native AI and modern digital tools user who knows how to improve workflows, scalability, and content execution
Bonus Points
- Experience in startup, creator economy, consumer tech, media, or mission-driven brands
- Experience supporting app launches, MVPs, or early-stage growth initiatives
What Success Looks Like
- Growing FaithOnline from early-stage traction into a recognizable, differentiated, and highly engaged digital brand
- Increasing waitlist signups, app downloads, audience engagement, and user acquisition through strategic organic social media growth
- Building scalable social systems, workflows, and content pipelines that support long-term growth and execution
- Developing platform-native content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Substack, Facebook, and emerging channels (i.e. Threads)
- Creating emotionally resonant content and engagement loops that drive shares, conversation, retention, and community participation
- Translating FaithOnline’s vision, voice, and value proposition into compelling digital storytelling that resonates with target audiences
- Using analytics, experimentation, and audience insights to continuously optimize growth, engagement, and platform conversion
- Helping scale FaithOnline into a thriving digital ecosystem with thousands of engaged users and community members
This role will start at 10 hours/week. Hours may increase based on workload.
